Jayne Moxon - Flugelhorn

Jayne started playing the Cornet at the age of 10, with the Ratby Band in Leicestershire.

As time has progressed, Jayne has played with Ratby, Unity Brass (Oddfellows Brass), Thorntons, Ibstock Building Group, and Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band, where she has spent the last fours years as Repiano Cornet. Jayne, also plays in the 'Simply Brass' Ensemble based in Scarborough, and has also helped out several bands in the Yorkshire area - since moving there several years ago - including regular appearances with the Shepherds Group Band in York, and the Old Silkstone Band from Barnsley.

Throughout her playing career Jayne has played mainly the Cornet and Flugel Horn, though on occasion has played the Trumpet when guesting in the orchestral world. Jayne joined the East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band in January 2008.
